MERCHANT MARINE DECK/ENGINEER OFFICER’S CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY EXAMINATION SCHEDULE FOR 2010
The Department of Shipping shall conduct various grades of Merchant Marine Certificate of Competency Examinations for Deck/Engineer Officers in the year 2010 commencing from the dates as shown in the following schedule:

Note :
- For Class-1 & 2 Deck & Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency examination, minimum number of candidates required shall be 1(one) and for each of all other categories, the minimum number shall be 3(three)
- Application in prescribed forms along with fees must reach the Chief Examiner at least 2 weeks before the commencement of the respective examination.
- Class-1 & 2 (Engineer Officer) oral only may be held in any month with two weeks notice.
- If the event of the examination date is a Govt. holiday, the examination shall be held on the following working day.
